Summary: Social media and other online platforms, like blogs and websites, are an essential component for any project looking to reach a wider audience, stay connected to those they serve, and to share project successes and findings. However, a challenge for many projects is finding the time to keep posts and content current and relevant, as well as engaging in strategies necessary to build an online presence. During this webinar we reviewed strategies for getting the most out of social media tools efficiently and effectively. We also heard from Barb MacEachern, with the ITEST Project SportsLab:2020 and Outreach Coordinator for the EdGE at TERC, about successfully using social media to share project impact stories and broaden their reach.
