NewSchools Ignite: Science Learning Challenge

DESCRIPTION

NewSchools Ignite: Science Learning Challenge is open to teams working to build engaging, technology-enabled learning experiences, design tools, assessments and other digital products that support K-12 students’ development of science and engineering skills. Read more about our selection criteria.

In addition to participation in two in-person convenings and a six-month virtual accelerator program, challenge winners will receive grants ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 (depending on product stage). Read more about our program.

  • Closing convening (SF Bay Area): May 10-11, 2016

NewSchools Venture Fund is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Oakland, CA. To be eligible for funding, applicants must be working on projects that are aligned with NewSchools' charitable purpose of transforming public education so that all children – especially those in underserved communities – have the opportunity to succeed.
