NSF INCLUDES Video Showcase: Envisioning Impact
DESCRIPTION
The National Science Foundation's (NSF) INCLUDES (Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science) initiative, enhances U.S. leadership in STEM disciplines by proactively seeking and effectively developing STEM talent from all sectors and groups in our society.
This year, projects funded by NSF INCLUDES initiative share short videos describing their work and how they expect it will impact the diversity of the STEM community. They will describe the immediate impacts their projects will have on project participants, the broader impacts they envision, and how these will be achieved.
We invite project leaders and participants of broadening participation projects, policy makers, industry representatives, and stakeholders from the community, across all sectors of society, to view and discuss these videos with the presenters during the week-long virtual event, March 20 - 27, 2017. The dialogue will contribute to a rich view of promising strategies and best practices for increasing diversity and will inform a vision of the collective impact that these INCLUDES projects may achieve.
