One Pagers and Posters

What is a one pager and poster?

A key strategy for showcasing your work is the virtual poster; all ITEST Projects are encouraged to create a virtual poster booth for the event and complete a project one pager (template)

The posters will be available online throughout the meeting, allowing everyone ample time to review all the great work being done, and to identify possible connections around themes, goals, audience types, and more. There will be dedicated times to network and share your poster during the event.

What are the requirements for the one-pager and poster?

NSF is interested in learning about your work! ITEST Program Officers request that all projects prepare a one-page document to be shared as this year’s “poster.”

  1. Download and complete the Project One Page Template (automatic download). This template allows projects to have a consistent format to share information about their work.
  2. Identify other items that you would like to share with the ITEST community to help them understand your work. For example, you may want to share your project website, key publications or presentations, a link to your STEM for All Video Showcase, and/or curriculum materials.
  3. In addition to the one page virtual poster, projects are encouraged to submit a 30-second “elevator pitch” video describing their work and sharing connections (themes, challenges, strategies for sustaining work, etc.) they are interested in making at the meeting.
How do I upload/submit my one-pager and poster?

Watch a quick video on how to create and upload materials to your virtual poster page and/or see the written instructions below.

Login into the STELAR website with your ITEST project member credentials.

If you do not remember your password or credentials, you can reset your account. If you do not have a project member account, please sign up first.

Visit the Create Poster page of the STELAR website. This form will allow you to add your one pager and other supporting material. Note that to complete the page you will need to:

Complete the mandatory fields indicated with a red (*) asterisk to enter a short description,  link your page to your existing project profile, add categories that will act as filters for the poster page.; Complete the optional fields as you like to share additional material that highlights your work (e.g., additional documents or media, websites, etc.) When you have completed the form, click the Save button located at the top of the page.

Add a video:

If you have a video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo you can include the URL in the Video section of the page (Add Media> Add remote video via URL)

If you have a video in MP4 format, save a version named with your Award Number (e.g., 1949200.mp4) and upload it to our Dropbox: https://go.edc.org/upload-video; STELAR staff will manually add the video to your poster booth.

How do I participate in the poster session?
