Resource Abstract/Description
This article reports the development of the Test of Knowledge and Understanding of Nanoelectronics Concepts (TKUNC). The instrument has three equivalent forms, with each form consisting of 31 multiple choice question items. Data were collected from two groups of students taking nanoelectronics course. Rasch modeling was used to develop the tests. Results showed that the instrument was valid and reliable. The instrument can be useful in a variety of applications when measurement and comparisons of students’ knowledge and understanding of nanoelectronics concepts are needed.
