NSF and STELAR hosted a workshop on March 27 & 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada designed to highlight the National Science Foundation’s Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) Program.
Those who are interested in submitting a proposal are strongly encouraged to register and attend the webinar on the ITEST Resource Center Solicitation, which will be held on Tuesday, December 12 from 2:30-3:30 PM EST. In this webinar, ITEST program officers will review the submission process and the expectations of an ITEST Resource Center.

STELAR hosted National Science Foundation (NSF) Program Officers on September 27 & 28 for an informational workshop designed to highlight the NSF funding opportunities for STEM education research at the PreK-12 level!
This event was intended to raise awareness and increase the geographic diversity of the ITEST portfolio.
Dr. Vanessa Peters, Senior Learning Sciences Researcher from Digital Promise, presented her synthesis of research findings from over 70 NSF awards that addressed the unanticipated effects of the pandemic on STEM teaching and learning. During this interactive virtual session, Dr. Peters provided us with a briefing on her synthesis, asked for input from the research community attending, and answered questions about the work.

The National Science Foundation published NSF 23-115, “Advancing Microelectronics Education” in May 2023 in response to the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 (CHIPS Act).
