2016 NSF Video Showcase - Advancing STEM Learning For All: Sharing Cutting Edge Work and Community Discourse

DESCRIPTION

2016 STEM for ALL Video Showcase

The 2016 NSF video showcase, “Advancing STEM Learning For All: Sharing Cutting Edge Work and Community Discourse,” took place online on May 17-23, 2016. Seven NSF-funded resource centers including, MSPnet, CADRE, CIRCL, CAISE, STELAR, CS10K Community and ARC came together to host this cross-center online video event to showcase cutting-edge NSF work. Last year's video showcase attracted over 30,000 unique visitors to date and has received accolades from NSF program officers.

This year's event featured more than 150 projects, each presenting a three-minute video of their innovative work broadening participation and access to STEM. During the week of the showcase, researchers, practitioners, administrators, policy makers and the general public were invited to view the submitted videos and engage in online dialogue with the presenters and event facilitators. Between May 17-23, over 23,500 unique visitors in 145 countries took part in 2771 discussion posts and cast 13,920 Public Choice votes. We're pleased to announce that ITEST projects were 6 of the 21 videos recognized as Facilitator's Choice, Presenter's Choice and Public Choice!

The 22 ITEST projects featured in the showcase appear below, with the recognized submissions noted.
