Repeat Session - ITEST Community Meetup: Keeping Our STEM Efforts Going Amid Social Distancing
DESCRIPTION
COVID-19 is changing many aspects of our life, including how we do our work. While “social distancing” has become the new normal, maintaining connections with our colleagues and stakeholders has become increasingly important. As the resource center for the ITEST program, we would like to provide an open space for currently funded projects to come together as a community and discuss:
- What activities can and should continue under the current circumstances?
- How can you use social media to get your project messages out?
- What are best practices for working in the virtual space?
- What innovative steps are you taking to move your ITEST work online?
- What questions do you have that we can help address?
We invite you to join us for one or more of the following ITEST Project Meetups to be held weekly during the month of April. These meetups are informal opportunities to connect with other ITEST PIs, evaluators, and project staff with the goal of sharing resources and information. Projects are invited to attend one, or all, depending on interest and availability.
We acknowledge that for many, working productively and managing home life has become a juggling act. Our desire is not to add to your workload, but rather provide an open channel to connect with colleagues in similar situation and walk away with ideas on how to continue your work despite the current challenges that COVID-19 brings.
We invite you to join us online on Wednesday, April 15, 1-2 pm ET.
Unable to meet on April 15? Join the next meetup on Thursday, April 23, 1-2 pm ET
