NSF Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) Conference
DESCRIPTION
NSF’s Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program contributes to the National Science Foundation’s objective to foster the growth of a more capable and diverse research workforce in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
In recognition of the NSF AGEP Program’s 25th anniversary, the AGEP at 25: Celebrating the Past, Creating the Future Conference will bring together both current and past AGEP Alliances and projects, those committed to broadening participation in STEM, including former AGEP-funded students and fellows who are now faculty at institutions of higher education. Join us as we celebrate the influence and impact of the program and share research to guide future work.
Not affiliated with a current or past AGEP Alliance or project? The conference welcomes anyone committed to broadening participation in STEM higher education. Aspiring higher education faculty will find particular value in this event, as it offers unique opportunities to engage with institutions, federal agencies, and faculty members. Don’t miss this chance to network, learn, and contribute to the future of STEM education!
- Celebrate & Share: Celebrate the AGEP program awardees by bringing project teams together and celebrate the outcomes and impacts of their work.
- Connect & Learn: Connect AGEP awardee teams with experts knowledgeable about institutional and systemic change, intersectionality, and institutionalization.
- Sustain & Amplify: Support the AGEP awardee teams and the public by providing an online conference website with annual conference materials and proceedings.
