You are invited to attend the third interactive, online video showcase event, funded by the National Science Foundation.
The 2017 STEM FOR ALL VIDEO SHOWCASE: RESEARCH & DESIGN FOR IMPACT was held May 15-22. It featured 171 video presentations from 478 presenters and co-presenters, the majority associated with National Science Foundation programs. NSF resource centers MSPnet, CAISE, CADRE, CS for all teachers, Cyberlearning and STELAR resource centers have all worked collaboratively to encourage their members to participate. The showcase had participation this year from over 30 NSF programs and 16 videos that are funded or co-funded by other federal agencies including ED, USAID, NASA, NIH, IMLS and USDA!
Videos will continue to be available on the STEM for All 2017 Video Showcase, and can be searched or filtered by keyword, program, state, age level or intended audience. They cover a vast array of topics in STEM including broadening participation, workforce development, scientific argumentation, NGSS, citizen science, maker spaces, classroom curriculum innovations, apps and games, integration of computer science into STEM and computational thinking (to name but a few).
Congratulations to the 24 ITEST projects that presented in the 2017 showcase! These projects are listed below with links to project description and to the videos on the showcase website (view all 24 by clicking here). We are thrilled that 5 of the ITEST presentations were recognized as Facilitators’ Choice or Presenter's Choice, as marked below.
