STELAR Webinar: Proposal Development – Research and Evaluation
DESCRIPTION
STELAR's ITEST Proposal Development Course is a free resource designed to guide novice NSF proposal writers through the process of developing a full proposal for the August 13 ITEST solicitation deadline. On Thursday, April 15 STELAR held a webinar that presented information about research and evaluation designs for ITEST proposals. We focused on designing a research study in your ITEST project that will look at indications of the impact of your intervention and also contribute Intellectual Merit. We looked at how to design an evaluation provides you with ongoing feedback on your work, as well as feedback on the overall success of the project.
This session was split into three parts: (1) Overview of the “High-Quality Research Design” section of the ITEST Solicitation; (2) Overview of the “Project Evaluation” section; (3) “Ask an Evaluator” interactive breakout groups where attendees can ask experienced ITEST evaluators their burning evaluation questions.
When: April 15, 3:00 pm ET
