Back-to-School Season
August Highlight
As summer comes to a close and teachers begin preparing for the new school year, we encourage you to check out the STELAR Educators Page for engaging and equity-focused curricular materials spanning disciplines from computer coding to aerospace engineering. To celebrate students’ return to the classroom, we’re highlighting these ITEST projects that are working with students in primary and secondary education settings:
- Black and Latinx elementary school students in New York City further develop their interest and understanding in mathematics through this current Developing and Testing Innovations Project.
- Middle-school students in Florida and Indiana experience improved science learning opportunities through classroom AI integration with this ITEST DTI project.
- Rural New Hampshire and Vermont students create pathways to STEM careers and college readiness through this long-term investigation project helping girls build science communities.
You’ll find these student-focused project profiles and others on STELAR’s ITEST project page. We wish you a happy and learning-filled start to the new school year!
