Education Week Leaders to Learn From: 2017 Nominations Open

DESCRIPTION

Leaders To Learn From is a project of Education Week, the nation's foremost source for K-12 news and analysis. The Leaders To Learn From special report spotlights forward-thinking district leaders who seize on good ideas and execute them well in their school systems. This special edition profiles these leaders—many of whom have worked well below the public radar—to bring attention to the smart ideas and strategies they are using in their school systems to raise student achievement and build stronger communities.

Education Week seeks nominations of school district leaders who have brought fresh, successful ideas to their school communities.  If you know a district leader whose strategies or innovations would inspire colleagues nationwide, visit the website to submit a nominee. Note that nominees should all be district-level personnel.

Next year's honorees will be selected by the Education Week editors and profiled in the 2017 Leaders To Learn From special report on February 22. They will also be recognized at Leaders To Learn From 2017 in Washington, DC on March 31.

Nominations are due August 1, 2016.
