U.S. Department of Education Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) - 2018 Phase I Solicitation
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program at the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences, provides funding to firms (small businesses) and their partners for the research, development, and evaluation of commercially viable education technology products.
On December 11, 2017, the program released its Fiscal Year 2018 “Phase I” solicitation (# 91990018R0006). IES is accepting Phase I proposals for awards of up to $200,000 and 8 months for the development of prototypes of education technology products to improve relevant student, teacher, or administrator outcomes in education and special education settings.
Submission deadline for all Phase I proposals: January 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
