Workshops are at the heart of the convention and provide more than 11.5 hours of professional development. Workshops are offered in varied formats designed to appeal to diverse learning styles.

Our goal is to provide a fun, engaging and comprehensive professional development convention that meets the diverse needs of afterschool professionals. We're most interested in sessions that include hands-on activities and practical training that engages participants.

Learn more about our proposal guidelines.

Many of our presenters do not have experience in public speaking, but have spent years in afterschool and out-of-school time programs and are experts on engaging students, developing partnerships, planning activities in the rain, retaining staff, developing leaders, preventing bullying, and a lot more. Convention is your opportunity to share what you do well, connect with peers, and advance the field.
