NSF and NNI Contest "Generation Nano: Small Science, Superheros!"
DESCRIPTION
The National Science Foundation and the National Nanotechnology Initiative have recently announced "Generation Nano: Small Science, Superheroes," a competition for high school students. Students are invited to submit an original idea for a superhero who is equipped with gear inspired by modern nanotechnology research. Submissions can be made as a short written entry, a 90-second video, or a 1 page comic strip.
Winning submissions will receive cash prices and the opportunity to present their superhero at the 2016 USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C. More information is provided on the National Science Foundation's website: http://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/gennano/
