DESCRIPTION

This one day workshop will occur on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Tuskegee University (Tuskegee, AL) and is designed for people who have not been previously funded through the National Science Foundation's ITEST (Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers) Program.

The National Science Foundation's ITEST program supports the research and development of innovative models for engaging K-12 students in authentic experiences that build their capacity to participate in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and information and communications technology (ICT) workforce of the future. 1. -          What makes a compelling concept for NSF
  2. -          Key components of a competitive/fundable proposal
  3. -          The elements of writing a successful proposal
  4. -          Understanding the proposal review process
  5. -          Support provided by the ITEST Community of Practice
