Summary: To herald efforts to date and elevate STEM workforce development in out-of-school time,  the ITEST Learning Resrouce Center recently convened researchers, practitioners, and policymakers - with funding from the National Science Foundation.  This follow-up webinar shared results from the gathering including an array of recommendations generated by attendees to advance research in STEM content and career exploration.  Recommended areas of focus include essential design elements of related afterschool programs, addressing the contextual and cultural needs of underrepresented groups, and understanding pathways though school to career longitudinal studies.
