VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS FOR 2021 NSF AISL APPLICANTS

This proposal season, there will be SIX opportunities to connect with program directors from NSF and have your questions about proposal preparation addressed. Prior to attending any of the office hours listed below, it's strongly recommend that participants become very familiar with the 1-year, NSF #20-607 solicitation. Please review the AISL priorities and project types, which are discussed in this pre-recorded webinar and these slides.  For the budget preparation office hours on 12/9/2020, please review these audio-enhanced slides on budget guidelines in advance. New since the 2017 solicitation, the restriction on the number of proposals for which an organization may be the lead has been lifted and the mechanism by which projects can submit a DVD/CD as supplementary documentation has changed such that these allowable materials can now be submitted electronically. Other helpful resources for project teams considering submitting a proposal can be found here. Finally, a Project Planner, developed by a CAISE research and practice task force may be helpful as you prepare your proposal. Proposals for the next round of funding are due on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
