2017 SACNAS is a conference like no other. Equal parts science, culture, and community, 2017 SACNAS is the largest diversity in STEM conference in the country, with three days of cutting-edge science, training, mentoring, and cultural activities for scientists at all levels and disciplines. For over 40 years, the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) has been the leading multicultural and multidisciplinary STEM diversity organization in the country.

You + Service
Transform your passion for science into service by preparing a session for 2017 SACNAS. Our sessions provide an opportunity for mentoring, recruitment, and presentations on cutting-edge, multidisciplinary science. We invite you to share your expertise with us this October by proposing a scientific symposia or professional development session today.
We look for a wide range of ideas and perspectives for sessions within two main categories:
Scientific Symposia Session: Highliting cutting-edge research, ideas, industry knowledge from community members who are experts in their STEM disciplines. This includes original research, advancements, and multidisciplinary approaches to the STEM fields.
Professional Development Session: SACNAS is looking for sessions that will provide attendees with guidance and training in beyond-the-bench skills.
