STEM Career Connections Resource Pack
Description
The STEM Career Connections project developed educational materials to support implementation of the STEMCC model within both formal and informal education settings, included here as the Resource Pack. The technology curricula and career connections activities define what youth were actually doing throughout the STEMCC project, while the community partnerships, detailed in the STEM Partnership Toolkit, provided the backbone to shape youth experiences.
The Resource Pack contains STEM career connections activities as well as links to the technology curricula that were implemented during the STEMCC project. Also included are guides intended to help integrate the career connections and partnership components of the STEMCC model into existing STEM curricula.
During the STEM Career Connections project, these technology curricula and career connections activities were used in multiple learning contexts, including STEM classes during the school day, afterschool STEM programs, and summer enrichment camps. The implementation guides and best practices included describe how to implement the career connections for both in-school and out-of-school contexts.
