Carefully review the entire (PAPPG) section on Budget and Budget Justification.

Review this section of a webinar on the ITEST solicitation where NSF program officers talk about things to consider when preparing a budget for your proposal.

Review the Sample NSF Budget provided in the Resources tab.

Find the individuals in your institutional finance, sponsored research, and contracts departments who will need to assist you with the development of a budget. Share the entire PAPPG with them and ask them to review it. Work with them, using the templates provided in the Resources section (or other templates they may have) to start developing a budget for your proposal.
